Interceptor Research and Development

Amongst the vast amount of spares we acquired from the Royal Enfield Factory stock was a MK2 Interceptor
 bottom end which we believe had been used for experimenting with oil temperature/pressure.

As you can see from the photos it has been machined to accommodate a "Heatrae" device to heat the oil.

It has also had another oil pipe drilling to the right of that, cut off conrods, straight shaft/crank shaft with large triple belt pulley on the end.
